I combined 4 or 5 faces together to make this very caricaturized image. I couldn’t find hair that worked well with it, so instead I decided to make it look sort of like a mask, and added the shadow under it to give it some dimension.
A poster for “Design Culture Now”, made to look like it was crunched through the printer on letterhead.
We have an assignment in my illustrator class to create a logo for a “vitamin water” drink. “Hydrate” is what I came up with.
My wife and I recently acquired our own copy of L.A. Noire, and have been enjoying taking turns while solving cases. I sketched this up during her turn.

• Make up (Brain storming, sketching, idea-dumping)
• Mock up (hard concepts made on the computer)

I made this for my Illustrator class. We were given a company name with a tag line, both of which needed to be incorporated into the design. I wanted to give it some really heavy backward motion, which I think I accomplished here.

I’d eventually like to get to the point to where I know what font family and style would best work with a design without having to spend hours with [...]
I started sketching this using basic square and rectangular shapes. It turned into a stone golem with a disappointed look on his face. I feel like this is something akin to “FAIL” or “I disapprove.” Golem doesn’t mess around, and hates it when you waste his time.
A simple twitter icon using basic shapes and lines. It came out sort of digital looking, so I used a more digital font for his tweet. This sort of design pattern would probably work really well for all sorts of animals.
